Hoopla Zone

The Hoopla Zone is a vibrant, family-friendly space where guests can jump in, get moving, and have fun at their own pace! Designed to offer nostalgic, generation-connecting activity, the Hoopla Zone gives attendees the freedom to engage and participate for short stints as they enjoy the rest of your event! It includes Hoopla Hoops, clear area markings, inclusive dance & manipulative items, music & sound system, and 2 Hoopla members! Perfect for a festival, community event, or anywhere where people gather for good times!

Guests can stop by for a quick burst of hooping fun or stay awhile to explore interactive activities, playful challenges, mini-classes, demonstrations, one-on-one instruction, and an all-inclusive hoop jam. With plenty of opportunities to move, laugh, learn, and play, there’s something for everyone from first-time hoopers to seasoned spinners!

The Hoopla Zone brings people together across ages and abilities through the simple joy of movement and play. It’s an energetic, welcoming activity area that adds excitement to your event while encouraging connection, healthy movement, creativity, and plenty of smiles. Our professional development program is the perfect activity for team-building, ice-breaker events, holiday parties, happy hours,  and so much more. During the class, participants will learn basic instruction, off-body hoop tricks, and team-building activities. Get ready to boost staff morale while having a blast and laughing while getting into the spin!  Leave this program to find success in yourselves with smiles on your faces.

Arts in Motion Workshop

This program explores the arts as communication, as creative personal realization, as culture & connection, as a means to well-being, and as a form of community engagement. Participants will express themselves through projects, presentations, reflection, and movement. In tandem with high-energy moments, participants will also find moments of mindfulness and meditation. This workshop offers a safe and welcoming space for all and is designed for ages 6 and up. No hoop experience is necessary.

STEM Workshop

This program explores the math, science, technology, and engineering of hoop dance and gets participants thinking in a new and unique way. Through projects, exploratory experiments, and reflection students will learn about STEM while having fun! This workshop is designed for ages 6 and up and allows thinkers of all kinds to grow their minds through movement. No hoop experience is necessary.

Girl Power Workshop

This program is where female-identifying students ages 6 and up will discover and develop their strengths, surround themselves with positive peers, and dive into their creativity through play, art, and exercise. Through (hula) hooping and active and healthy themes, we offer participants a safe and welcoming environment that fosters mutual respect and support.

Students will focus on creativity, confidence, leadership, communication, and self-esteem all through our handmade hoops as the main tool for self-expression. No hoop experience is necessary.

The ladies at Bring the Hoopla were a pleasure to work with and a wonderful addition to our Tropical Sunsation event. They interacted with our guests and showed off their amazing hooping skills!
